You are receiving this email as a final confirmation that you are registered and committed to the upcoming track event with SpeedTrialUSA on August 20th (night event) and/or 21st (day event) at the Streets of Willow. Please note that the gates will open at 7am and our mandatory driver's meeting is at 3pm on Saturday August 20th and 8am on Sunday August 21st. We will be on track shortly after the driver's meeting so please plan on arriving early. Below are some additional information. Please feel free to email or call me with any questions. Procedure on the day of the event:
Arrive early!!! Plan on arriving 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the mandatory driver's meeting.
The track charges a $10 gate fee. (Gates open at 7am for all Sunday participants)
Find a spot to pit for the day once you entered the track. Before unloading and/or setting up, check in with registration (@ the Streets garage) to get your wrist bands. You can unload or set up once you get your wrist band.
For those who have done a pre-tech inspection and have a signed off tech form, you will get a sticker for your car when you get your wrist band. The sticker will go on the top corner of your windshield above the driver. Please put the run group letter and number on your car (Corresponds to your wrist band). The number should be large enough to be visible by our corner workers (display on the sides, front and rear of the car). If you do not have a way to put a number on your car, we will have a guy to do it for you when you line up for your first session.
For those who have not done a pre-tech inspection, you will need to line up to get your car inspected. Please only line up for tech inspection after you checked in and have gotten your wrist band. Please empty out your car and have your helmet with you for tech inspection. Tech station is located at the pit entrance near the start/finish tower.
Mandatory Driver's meeting is at 3pm on Saturday August 20th and 8am on Sunday August 21st. Please drop what you are doing to attend when we call for the mandatory driver's meeting. We will be on track shortly after the driver's meeting. If we have time, we will do parade laps before the track is hot.
BEGINNERS: Please be on time. You will have a mandatory download session immediately after each of your sessions at the Streets Garage. It is mandatory!!! It would be advisable for you to find a spot in the pits close to the Streets Garage.
ADVANCE/INTERMEDIATES: We will have a mandatory download session after your first two sessions to address any issues and concerns among the drivers. Please attend.
